This page describes the steps of registering material leaving from your facility, we refer to this that you "Deliver" your material. Please note that this page addresses three different alternatives for delivering material.
Make sure you understand all of the alternatives to choose the correct alternative for each of your delivered batches. If you are unsure, you can always reach out to your contact at Empower.
Alternative 1: Deliver to Empower user - remotely (with notification)
This delivery alternative should be used to deliver materials from other users who ARE also using the Empower platform, AND where you ARE NOT meeting them in person for the handover of the materials. Hence, this alternative rather applies when the material is rather transported from you to them. This alternative can be used both to deliver materials to other organizations or to other facilities of your own organization.
Step 1 (Alternative 1)
Start by clicking "Deliver" in the main menu.

Choose the delivery remotely.
Step 3 (Alternative 1)
Choose the material batch from your inventory in you are delivering and Click "Next".
Step 4 (Alternative 1)
You can choose to deliver the entire amount available or a portion of it. The total amount available is listed as the maximum amount to deliver. Click "Next".
Step 5 (Alternative 1)
If you're going to deliver multiple material types to the same source, click on Add a material
Step 6 (Alternative 1)
Choose the material type you wish to deliver and click NEXT
Step 7 (Alternative 1)
Set the amount you wish to deliver and click NEXT
Step 8 (Alternative 1)
If you wish to add more materials repeat steps 5-7. To continue to the next step, click NEXT.
Step 9 (Alternative 1)
When delivering to a partner on the Empower Platform, start by typing their organization name and choose the correct facility. If you can't find their organization, ask them to update their profile or reach out to Empower for help. If you're delivering from your own organization, choose the facility where the delivery will take place.
Note: if you don't to which facility you should send the data, just leave the field blank and your partner will receive the notification and be able to review and accept the data in every facility of their account.
Step 10 (Alternative 1)
Before submitting your registration, review the overview and edit any incorrect information using the blue highlighted buttons. You can also upload files such as receipts or other supporting documentation to strengthen your data set. The receiver can review these files before approving the delivery.
Alternative 2: Deliver to Empower user - on location (with QR code)
This delivery alternative should be used to deliver materials from other users who ARE also using the Empower platform, AND where you ARE meeting them in person for the handover of the materials. This alternative can be used both to deliver materials to other organizations or to other facilities of your own organization.

When completing delivery to another Empower user with a physical hand-off, it means you, as the deliverer and the receiver standing physically next to each other. Ask the received to log into Empower Tracking on their own device and do a Receive > With QR code (full steps covered under Alternative 2 here). They can then scan your displayed QR code.
Step 10 (Alternative 2)
As soon as the receiving party has scanned the QR code on your device and accepted the details, you will receive a notification that the delivery was accepted. You can then click "Got it" and then "Done, back to home page".
Alternative 3: Deliver to partner NOT using the Empower solution
Use this alternative when you are delivering material to parties who ARE NOT using Empower Tracking themselves. We say this is an "unconfirmed delivery", as the receiving party will not be able to confirm the delivery on the platform.
Step 1 (Alternative 3)
As you are in this alternative delivering to a partner who does not have a user account, click "Deliver unconfirmed".

As the receiver is not on the platform, you are instead asked to write in the free text or you can set up a default list of the organizations you're receiving from by following the steps in the article here.
This can, for example, be the name of a recycler, a waste management company, a producer, or a landfill.
Step 10 (Alternative 3)
In this step, you can add files such as the receipt of the transaction or any other that might support the delivery. It's recommended to upload any documentation or pictures that may strengthen your data set.
Again double-check the details, and click "Confirm" if all information is correct, then "Done, back to home page".
As Empower Tracking is not an app you download from App Store or Google Play, we strongly encourage you to instead save it to the home screen of your smartphone as soon as possible. This will make it appear like a normal app. See how here.
